Several Collier County Beach Tests Show Acceptable Levels

Some beaches remain inaccessible
Collier County, Fla. — Tests taken after Hurricane Milton show that there is no increased risk of illness from swimming at this time at the following Collier County beaches: Clam Pass, Naples Pier, Tigertail Beach, Residents Beach, and South Marco Beach.
Tests completed on Monday, October 14, 2024, indicate that the water quality shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
The following beaches are inaccessible and cannot be sampled at this time: Wiggins Pass, Doctor’s Pass, Lowdermilk Beach, Barefoot Beach, and Vanderbilt Beach. A precautionary swim advisory remains in place for these beaches.
