Mobile unit will provide testing options to underserved areas

Naples, Fla. — In partnership with Collier County, the Florida Department of Health in Collier County (DOH-Collier) has acquired a mobile unit to provide COVID-19 testing, education, and outreach to underserved areas of Collier County including Immokalee and Golden Gate City. In addition to ongoing testing throughout the county as well as multi-lingual education and outreach, providing even more access to testing will help to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The mobile unit will begin services the week of October 19, 2020, three days per week, on a rotating basis. Locations will be advertised to the community.
