The primary goal of the Access to Care Workgroup is to improve access to health resources for everyone in Collier County. The five strategies and lead agencies are shown below:
- Offer free blood pressure screenings to uninsured residents (Neighborhood Health Clinic)
- Promote widespread use of the Collier Cares mobile application and website (Collier Cares)
- Strengthen relationships with community partners to expedite communication of positive HIV test results (DOH-Collier HIV Ryan White Program)
- Increase awareness and use of the Certified Sexual Assault HELP line (239-262-7227) to connect victims to services. (Project HELP)
- Implement the Florida Department of Health, Office of Minority Health Telehealth Maternity Care program. (Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida)
