Access to Care Workgroup

The primary goal of the Access to Care Workgroup is to improve access to health resources for everyone in Collier County. The five strategies and lead agencies are shown below:

  • Offer free blood pressure screenings to uninsured residents (Neighborhood Health Clinic)
  • Promote widespread use of the Collier Cares mobile application and website (Collier Cares)
  • Strengthen relationships with community partners to expedite communication of positive HIV test results (DOH-Collier HIV Ryan White Program)
  • Increase awareness and use of the Certified Sexual Assault HELP line (239-262-7227) to connect victims to services. (Project HELP)
  • Implement the Florida Department of Health, Office of Minority Health Telehealth Maternity Care program. (Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida)
