The primary goal of the Health of Older Adults Workgroup is to increase capacity for older adults aged 60 years and older to comfortably and safely age in place with appropriate resources in a livable community. The two strategies and lead agencies are shown below:

  • Maintain compliance with the AARP Age-Friendly Community program standards. (Age-Friendly Collier)
  • Leverage the Dementia Care and Cure Task Force of Collier County to promote dementia awareness and provide education about dementia. (Baker Senior Center Naples)
