2026 Big Bus Event
November 7, 2026, at 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
DOH-Collier Immokalee Office
In-Person
The Big Bus Event will provide needed health, medical, and county services to residents of Immokalee and surrounding areas.
ECG Screenings for Student Athletes
Florida’s Second Chance Act mandates that high school student athletes undergo at least one echocardiogram (ECG/EKG) screening to detect hidden heart conditions before competing in Florida High School Athletic Association sanctioned sports.
Who We Play For will offer low-cost youth ECG screenings at the Big Bus Event.
Type 1 Diabetes Screenings
Type 1 diabetes is a chronic autoimmune condition that inhibits the pancreas from making insulin. A simple blood test can detect type 1 diabetes before symptoms appear and medication is needed. Healthcare Network will provide type 1 diabetes screenings for children ages 2-18 years.
Mammograms
One in eight women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime. Sadly, one in four women miss their recommended mammogram due to cost, transportation, and scheduling conflicts. The Mammolink bus will provide no and low-cost mammograms to eligible women.
Additional low and no-cost Services
- Blood pressure screenings
- Youth dental screenings
- Mental health screenings
- STI & HIV testing
- Pediatric immunizations
Bring your family to learn about your health, wellness, and community services. We encourage everyone to participate and make their health a priority!
